Tulsa Opera seeks to cast roles for its upcoming production of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. All artists must be local to the Tulsa Metro area/willing to work local hire and over the age of 18. Housing/boarding is not covered. BIPOC artists are strongly encouraged to audition. Artist must be available for rehearsals beginning mid/late January through performances on February 9th, 10th, 11th. All artists will be paid an honorarium.
Audition Requirements:
- Female presenting artists, please prepare one of the follow cuts either “I Will Be Loved Tonight” OR “Always a Bridesmaid” and an additional contrasting 32-bar cut of your choice. Your second cut does NOT need to be from I Love You…
- Male presenting artists, please prepare the cut provided from “Shouldn’t I Be Less in Love with You?” and an additional contrasting 32-bar cut of your choice. Your second cut does NOT need to be from I Love You….

Auditions will take place at the studios of Overture Musical Theatre Training located at 5147 S. Harvard Ave., Tulsa, OK, 74135. Parking is free and readily available. Please arrive ten minutes before your audition time to check in with the audition monitor. We will NOT have dedicated warm up spaces at the audition site. Please plan accordingly.
