Tulsa Opera invites you to celebrate the 200th birthday of Johann Strauss II with a joyful evening of music that shimmers, dances, and sings. Sing Me a Waltz features choral selections from Strauss’s beloved operettas, timeless waltzes, and works by his contemporaries and admirers—all performed with piano and voices in rich harmony. From graceful melodies to buoyant rhythms, this all-choral program brings the elegance and charm of Vienna’s golden age to life with fresh energy and a festive spirit.

All ages and skill levels are invited to come early for a free dance class led by choreographer Kara Staiger. Ticketed patrons only.

You’re invited to waltz the night away on our special dance floor! Kara will be there to lend a hand (foot?) to those who would like more instruction. Of course, you’re also welcome to simply enjoy the concert from your seat.
