Inevitable Beethoven: The Struggle for Creation with Signature Symphony at TCC – March 2 at 7:30pm, VanTrease PACE
This all-Beethoven and Beethoven-influenced program was inspired by immersive theater experiences that are now found all over the globe. Culminating in a performance of Beethoven’s monumental Ninth symphony and its resounding message of unity and hope, director Vern Stefanic joins the Signature Symphony to immerse you in the fascinating story of Beethoven’s life leading up to his final symphony. About the Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale

Tulsa Opera and the Signature Symphony at TCC have partnered to create the Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale, the resident chorus of the Signature Symphony at TCC. This new partnership allows for an increased number of performances for the chorale and adds to Tulsa Opera’s community outreach and music education programs.
The Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale consists of Tulsa-area residents who have a passion and talent for vocal performance and desire the opportunity to perform with a professional orchestra. The members of the chorale are selected following an audition process and they rehearse and perform year-round. The Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale’s Music Director is Aaron Beck, Tulsa Opera’s Artistic Director.
Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale rehearses Tuesday evenings beginning in the fall each year.
The chorale is a volunteer community chorus, and welcomes singers across all genres and skill levels. There is no fee to participate, but all members must purchase a uniform. All members are paid an honorarium per performance.
