About the Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale
Join a fellowship of community musicians who come together to make connections, have fun, and sing everything from classical masterworks to Broadway and the Beatles. Developed as a partnership between Tulsa Opera and the Signature Symphony at TCC, and under the direction of Tulsa Opera Artistic Director Aaron Beck and Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale Assistant Director Whitney Hollis, the Chorale welcomes singers of all styles and skill levels. Auditions are held annually in August.
Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale rehearse regularly on Tuesdays from 7 to 9pm with additional rehearsals during the week of performances. The first rehearsal will be September 9.

Audition for the 2026-27 Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale Season

Singers of all backgrounds are welcome. Auditions are required unless you are a 2025-2026 Season TOSC member.
What to prepare for the audition:
- One song not to exceed three minutes in length.
- Repertoire may be drawn from classical art song, operatic arias, musical theatre showtunes, or American songbook standards.
- Please NO contemporary pop or country music selections.
What to bring with you to the audition
- 3-hole punched sheet music in a binder.
- Optional but not required: headshot and resume.
What you need to know
- A pianist is provided
- All auditions are with live pianist. No a cappella or recorded track accompaniments are allowed.
Registration goes live Monday, August 3 – Friday, August 21, 2026
Within 72 hours of registration, we will contact you via email with your final audition timeframe and additional details.
