Who?
Tulsa Opera is looking for supernumeraries for our 2020 production of Madama Butterfly. We have roles available for men, women, and children 10 and up.
What?
Our supernumeraries play a vital role in our productions, providing the community settings in which our stories take place and bringing the action and energy to the stage that bring those stories to life.
You do not need any previous stage experience to participate. Our director, John de los Santos, will guide you through the rehearsal process, and our talented production team will help you navigate the logistics of being in a live theater performance. Full costume and makeup will be provided.

Tuesday, Feb. 18 | 7pm – 10pm

Tech Rehearsals
Saturday, Feb. 22 | 10am – 5:30pm
Monday, Feb. 24 | 6pm – 11pm
Tuesday, Feb. 25 | 6pm – 10pm
Wednesday, Feb. 26 | 6pm – 10pm
Performances
Friday, Feb. 28 | 7:30pm
Sunday, Mar. 1 | 2:30pm
Where?
All rehearsals and performances will be at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center in downtown Tulsa.
Compensation
All supers will receive $150 after the final performance. In addition, all supers will receive 2 free tickets for their guests to our exclusive Invited Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday, Feb. 26, plus 2 free tickets to a Madama Butterfly performance and a 15% discount on any additional tickets.
