Pair your season with two special opera-themed film screenings at Tulsa’s beloved independent cinema. Each evening begins with a 25-minute live concert by Tulsa Opera artists, followed by the feature presentation.

The Magic Flute Screening & Concert

Famed Swedish director Ingmar Bergman’s childhood enchantment with The Magic Flute led to his award-winning 1975 film version, hailed by critics as “a blissful present, a model of how opera can be filmed.” Featuring a pre-screening concert by Spotlight on Opera cast members.

Little Women Screening & Concert

Set during the American Civil War, Greta Gerwig’s star-studded 2019 cinematic retelling of Louisa May Alcott’s classic 1868-69 novel follows the adventures of the March sisters as they negotiate triumph and tragedy, bolstered by adventurous spirits and a tight family bond. Featuring a pre-screening concert by the Filstrup Resident Artists.
