It’s the most sought-after ticket of the season when international superstar soprano Renée Fleming, hailed by The Guardian as the barrier-breaking “go-to soprano for royals, world leaders, and Broadway musicals,” brings her legendary voice to Tulsa. You’ve heard her voice of otherworldly beauty everywhere from the opera stage to The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King to singing the National Anthem at the 2014 Superbowl, and now is your opportunity to hear her live. Fleming’s acclaimed recital of Romantic and contemporary songs is accompanied by orchestra with a backdrop of a beautiful film from the National Geographic Society. The program explores our evolving relationship with nature and the world we live in via classical song. Sung in original languages with English supertitles, accompanied by orchestra.

*The Anthropocene refers to the era in which humans first began to significantly impact the environment.
