Share Your Memories

Tulsa’s love affair with opera began before it was incorporated as a town, and long before we had our very own opera company! Our very first documented opera performance took place in 1904, at the Epperson Opera House on the second floor of the Williamson Brothers store, at what is now the intersection of Main and Archer. Forty-four years later, in 1948, Tulsa Opera was born.

As we near our 80th anniversary, we’re celebrating eight decades of extraordinary music, storytelling, and community – and we want you to be a part of it.

Do you have a favorite memory, photo, or keepsake from a Tulsa Opera performance or event? Share your story below! Your submission may even become part of our upcoming anniversary celebration!
