Tulsa Opera Chorus

No opera company achieves greatness without the collaboration of a great chorus. The Tulsa Opera Chorus is an integral part of our company, working with internationally recognized soloists, conductors, stage directors, and the Tulsa Opera Orchestra in mainstage productions and concerts.

Directed by Lyndon Meyer, the Chorus includes dedicated professional, amateur, and student singers from across the region.

JOIN THE CHORUS

All choristers are paid an honorarium for each production, and a limited number of regional travel stipends are available.
Music rehearsals take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and on Saturdays and Sundays. During Production Week, rehearsals take place every night.

Requirements:

• Talent, motivation, and reliability
• Previous choral experience preferred, but not essential
• Ability to read music is strongly preferred, but not required

Audition information:

• Auditions for the 2025-26 season have concluded
• Auditions for the 2026-27 season will take place in late Spring 2026
