Opera on Tour!

The Raise Your Voice Tour

Thousands of Oklahoma students embark upon a thrilling musical journey when the Raise Your Voice Tour comes to their schools! Engaging operatic storytelling allows students to experience music, drama, art, and dance in an unforgettable interactive performance.

Performances last between 30-40 minutes and include a 10-minute Q&A session with the singers. The Raise Your Voice Tour also supports educators with lesson plans and teaching materials for classroom use. The tour takes place in the spring.

Raise Your Voice tours schools across Oklahoma and serves almost 3000 second graders in 51 Tulsa schools via the Kennedy Center’s Any Given Child initiative.

Our 2026 Opera: Monkey and Francine in the City of Tigers

Monkey & Francine in the City of Tigers is inspired by Indian and Chinese mythology and demonstrates the importance and power of teamwork as a monkey prince and his brainy sister, Francine, try to outwit a hungry crocodile and escape the city of Tigers. This one act children’s opera shares a message of unity, togetherness, and respecting individual differences and strengths.
