The Raise Your Voice Tour
Thousands of Oklahoma students embark upon a thrilling musical journey when the Raise Your Voice Tour comes to their schools! Engaging operatic storytelling allows students to experience music, drama, art, and dance in an unforgettable interactive performance.
Performances last between 30-40 minutes and include a 10-minute Q&A session with the singers. The Raise Your Voice Tour also supports educators with lesson plans and teaching materials for classroom use. The tour takes place in the spring.
Raise Your Voice tours schools across Oklahoma and serves over 2000 second graders in 51 Tulsa schools via the Kennedy Center’s Any Given Child initiative.
Our 2025 Opera: Stop, Bully!

When the Big Bad Bully gets mad, he starts pushing and shoving his classmates, Sky and Paige. At first, the girls don’t know what to do! But when they go to their parents and the principal for help, they learn how to take a stand. With a little help from the grown-ups, the Big Bad Bully agrees to give up his bullying ways and everyone becomes fast friends.
Originally created for the Shreveport Opera Express school tours, this delightful short opera resonates with kids and teaches valuable lessons about handling bullies and turning them into friends.
