The Raise Your Voice Tour
Thousands of Oklahoma students embark upon a thrilling musical journey when the Raise Your Voice Tour comes to their schools! Engaging operatic storytelling allows students to experience music, drama, art, and dance in an unforgettable interactive performance.
Performances last between 30-40 minutes and include a 10-minute Q&A session with the singers. The Raise Your Voice Tour also supports educators with lesson plans and teaching materials for classroom use. The tour takes place in the spring.
Raise Your Voice tours schools across Oklahoma and serves almost 3000 second graders in 51 Tulsa schools via
the Kennedy Center’s Any Given Child initiative.

Locally-based singers with daytime availability are sought for the 2027 Raise Your voice Tour.
You will be contacted by email with your final audition timeframe within 72 hours of filling out the form.

What to Prepare
One aria or song in an operatic or classical theatre style, not to exceed three minutes. Please NO contemporary pop or country music selections, but Great American Songbook standards are accepted.
What to Bring
Sheet music, 3-hold punched, and in a binder for the pianist. No a capella or recorded track accompaniments are allowed.

What You Need to Know
- A pianist is provided for your audition.
- Daytime availability during tour rehearsal and performance dates is non-negotiable; if you are not available during the day, you will not be considered for a role.
- Tour responsibilities include moving, setting up and breaking down scenery at each performance venue.
- Artists are required to submit to a routine background check before performances take place.
- Rehearsals typically take place in evenings on weekdays and weekday mornings and afternoons.
