Tulsa Youth Opera is thrilled to announce Bibbidi Bobbidi Broadway!, a concert that combines the brilliance of Broadway with the magic of Disney, featuring Broadway star Jenn Gambatese. This event will take place on Saturday, April 27th, at 7:30 PM at the historic Will Rogers High School Auditorium. General admission tickets are $10 for children under 18 and $25 for adults, on sale now!

The concert stars Jenn Gambatese, known for her starring roles in Hairspray, Footloose, Tarzan, School of Rock, and the recent Broadway hit Mrs. Doubtfire. Gambatese will be joined by the Tulsa Youth Opera, creating a “practically perfect” musical journey through the iconic songs of Disney on Broadway.

Tulsa Opera Artistic Director Aaron Beck says, “Bringing Jenn Gambatese to Tulsa is not just about a spectacular performance, but a celebration of the transformative power of music. Jenn’s talent exemplifies the profound impact of music education, shaping not only her remarkable career but also her character and outlook on life.”

Jenn Gambatese’s Broadway credits include notable roles such as Principal Rosalie Mullins in School of Rock, Jane in Tarzan, and Natalie in All Shook Up. With touring, regional, and off-Broadway credits spanning productions such as Wicked, The Sound of Music, and Carousel, Gambatese continues to leave an indelible mark on the world of musical theater.

This 75-minute concert will feature selections from beloved Broadway hits, including Mary Poppins, Frozen, The Lion King, Wicked, The Sound of Music, The King and I, and more. Gambatese’s exceptional talent, combined with the youthful energy of the Tulsa Youth Opera, promises an unforgettable celebration of music, wonder, and pure enchantment.

Tulsa Youth Opera is a tuition-free training program for singers in grades 3-12. This distinguished music education program provides weekly training from professionals, including vocal technique, foreign language, acting, movement, and performance skills. The program is led by Aaron Beck.
