The Filstrup Resident Artists have a busy December sharing the gift of vocal music with the community. We hope you can join us at these celebratory holiday events throughout the Tulsa area:

Friday, December 1st: First Friday at Living Arts of Tulsa for the Holiday Art Market! The opera concert will be from 7-7:45pm.

Saturday, December 2nd: Tulsa Farmers’ Market Yuletide Market will be set up in the Kendall Whittier district at Admiral Blvd & S Lewis Ave. Join us at 11am for a concert featuring holiday favorites!

Saturday, December 2nd: Sarah Coburn: A Benefit Concert. Join us for an unforgettable evening of music featuring soprano Sarah Coburn and pianist Lyndon Meyer at the Lorton Performance Center at the University of Tulsa at 7:30pm. This exceptional program promises to transport you through a journey of operatic classics, making this night of exquisite music an all-encompassing experience for all to cherish. Monday, December 4th: Tulsa Opera 75th Birthday & Holiday Open House. Tulsa Opera invites you to celebrate our 75th birthday with us on Monday, December 4 from 4-6pm at the Tulsa Opera Office! Join us for this birthday celebration & holiday open house to meet our team, including our new CEO and General Director, Lori Decter Wright. Stop by and enjoy festive champagne punch, hot apple cider, holiday nibbles, and live musical performances.

Thursday, December 7th: Traveling Voices Caroling at Ascension St. John. Tulsa Opera will be decking the halls and spreading holiday cheer with holiday carols during the noon-time hour at Ascension St. John in Tulsa.

Thursday, December 7th: Christmas in the Woods at Trinity Woods. Our carolers are thrilled to be a part of this Christmas extravaganza! Call 918-346-6614 for more information.

Friday, December 8th: Tulsa Winterfest at BOK Center. A concert with the Filstrup Resident Artists in the downtown winter wonderland with skating beneath the skyline. Music starts at 7pm! More information available on their website.

Saturday, December 9th: “White Christmas” Sing-A-Long at Circle Cinema. Tulsa Opera will be caroling in the lobby starting at 1pm before the 2pm screening of this classic Christmas movie. Get your tickets here.

Friday-Saturday, December 15th-16th: Signature Symphony and Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale Present “Christmas in Tulsa” at TCC Vantrease PACE. Celebrate the emergence of the holiday season with “Christmas in Tulsa,” a concert that promises timeless holiday favorites for a magical night with friends and family. The Signature Chorale and the Tulsa Youth Opera join the Signature Symphony, and the whole evening will conclude with an entire auditorium of music lovers singing in unison to a holiday sing-a-long.

Saturday, December 16th: Traveling Voices Caroling at Mother Road Market. We’re bring holiday music to Mother Road Market for a LIVE, lunch performance at noon!

Sunday, December 17th: “White Christmas” Sing-A-Long at Circle Cinema. Tulsa Opera will be caroling in the lobby starting at 1pm before the 2pm screening of this classic Christmas movie. Get your tickets here.

Tuesday, December 26th: Traveling Voices at “A Kwanzaa Community-Wide Celebration” at Rudisill Regional Library. Tulsa Opera will have a short performance featured at this community celebration that starts at 6pm and is open to the public!

Saturday, January 6th & Sunday, January 7th: Tulsa Youth Opera Presents “Amahl and the Night Visitors” at the Liddy Doenges Theatre at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. This opera tells the story of a young boy named Amahl who lives in poverty with his mother. One night, their home is visited by the Three Kings, who are seeking shelter on their way to Bethlehem. This heavenly story about giving to others perfectly captures the Christmas spirit, no matter the time of year! $15 tickets are available for the performances on Saturday, January 6th at 2:30pm/7:30pm or Sunday, January 7th at 2:30pm.
