The Filstrup Resident Artists have a busy December sharing the gift of vocal music with the community. We hope you can join us at these celebratory holiday events throughout the Tulsa area:

Friday, December 2nd: First Friday at Tulsa Artists Coalition for the gallery opening of Alyssa Fields’ Bloom. The opera concert will be from 7-7:45pm.

Saturday, December 3rd: Tulsa Farmers’ Market Yuletide Market will be set up in the Kendall Whittier district at Admiral Blvd & S Lewis Ave. Join us at 11am for a forty-five minute concert featuring holiday favorites!

Saturday, December 3rd: The Guild of Tulsa Opera’s Christmas Soirée and Sing-a-Long at Summit Club, 1-4pm. Tickets are $75 per person. Advanced registration is required for this amazing holiday buffet with prime rib carving station. Proceeds benefit The Guild and their support of Tulsa Opera.

Saturday, December 3rd: Arts Alliance Tulsa Art in the Park Holiday Festival. Downtown Tulsa transforms into a hometown holiday celebration of the ARTS! Everyone is welcome to enjoy an evening filled with a wide variety of visual and performing arts and an abundance of holiday cheer. Catch our singers at 7:20pm on Guthrie Green’s main stage.

Thursday, December 8th: Christmas in the Woods at Trinity Woods. Our carolers are thrilled to be a part of this Christmas extravaganza! Call 918-346-6614 for more information.

Friday, December 9th: Tulsa Winterfest at BOK Center. A joint concert with our Tulsa Youth Opera and the Filstrup Resident Artists in the downtown winter wonderland with skating beneath the skyline. Music starts at 7pm! More information at https://www.tulsawinterfest.com/

Saturday, December 10th: Tulsa Christmas Parade starting at 11am in Downtown Tulsa. Don’t miss our float! Will we once again take home first place?!

Friday-Saturday, December 16th-17th: Signature Symphony and Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale Present “Christmas in Tulsa” at TCC Vantrease PACE. Celebrate the emergence of the holiday season with “Christmas in Tulsa,” a concert that promises timeless holiday favorites for a magical night with friends and family. The Signature Chorale joins the Signature Symphony and the whole evening will conclude with an entire auditorium of music lovers singing in unison to a holiday sing-a-long.

Friday-Sunday, December 16th-18th: “White Christmas” Sing-A-Longs at Circle Cinema. Tulsa Opera will be caroling before the screenings on Friday, Dec. 16th at 6:30pm; Saturday, Dec. 17th at 7pm; and Sunday, Dec. 18th at 1:30pm. Saturday-Sunday, January 7th-8th: Tulsa Youth Opera Presents “Amahl and the Night Visitors” at the Liddy Doenges Theatre at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. This opera tells the story of a young boy named Amahl who lives in poverty with his mother. One night, their home is visited by the Three Kings, who are seeking shelter on their way to Bethlehem. This heavenly Epiphany story about giving to others perfectly captures the Christmas spirit of joy and giving!
