Kripalaya Dance Academy
Kripalaya Dance Academy is Tulsa’s premier Indian dance academy. Ever since starting the academy in 2002, director Priya Raju has showcased the school’s talents at various cultural events in Oklahoma. The school has also spread its wings to other states, including opening for the prestigious Heritage Festival in Chicago.
Tulsa Tyrants Armored Combatants
The Tulsa Tyrants are Tulsa’s original armored combat team. Founded in 2016, the team participates in real medieval combat (as seen on the History Channel’s Knight Fight) with their parent organization, Armored Combat Worldwide, in events all over the country and starting this year, the world!
The Edison Bands program is made up of grades 6-12 and includes several classes and performing ensembles. The high school program is under the direction of Oklahoma Jazz Educator of the Year Doug Styers. The Symphonic Band forms the core for all the high school ensembles and gives several performances throughout the academic year, including at OSSAA State Concert Band Contest.
