In this scene, Margherita has been imprisoned and is in a delirious state. She has been told that she killed her son and her mother, but she doesn’t know where reality begins and where it ends.
Loutsion made her Tulsa Opera debut in the title role of Puccini’s Turandot in 2018. The Washington Post called her a “singer to watch,” and Tulsa World described her performance as “masterful.”
