Although we deeply regret that you won’t be able to see these stars this May, we hope you enjoy a few clips from their other performances. And we’re looking forward to bringing them all to Tulsa soon!

Madison Leonard

Soprano Madison Leonard received major accolades for her recent performance as Gilda in Seattle Opera’s 2019 production of Rigoletto. Operawire called her “a totally natural stage presence with nary a false moment.”

Check out her singing “Caro nome” from that opera in the clip below:

Steven LaBrie

Tulsa audiences were lucky enough to hear baritone Steven LaBrie in Tulsa Opera’s 2018 production of The Barber of Seville, where he dazzled us as the titular barber, Figaro.

In this clip, watch him sing the Toreador song from Carmen, with La Orquesta Filarmonica del Estado de Chihuahua (OFECH) conducted by Felipe Tristan.

Margaret Lattimore

Mezzo soprano Margaret Lattimore has been described as “clean, silvery…firm and clear of tone” by The Washington Post and as having a “ravishing tone” by The Boston Globe.

Hear her below singing “Non piu mesta,” the final aria in Rossini’s La Cenerentola.

Emmeline

While it is, sadly, not the full opera, you can listen to one of the arias from Emmeline in this clip from the Santa Fe Opera, featuring Patricia Racette as Emmeline.
