Three performances in two locations!
Please join us this December for Tulsa Youth Opera’s production of Amahl and the Night Visitors. Composed by Gian Carlo Menotti, this one-hour opera happens in only one act and was the first opera specifically composed for television in the US.
The opera tells the story of a young disabled boy named Amahl who lives in poverty with his mother. One night, their home is visited by the Three Kings, who are seeking shelter on their way to Bethlehem. This heavenly story of a poor family giving to others perfectly captures the Christmas spirit of joy and giving!
All performances are free and open to the public. No tickets required!
