Meet the Artists
Giacomo Puccini’s beloved Madama Butterfly returns to Tulsa starring soprano Maria Natale as the geisha Cio-Cio San, tenor Matthew White as the naval officer Pinkerton, and mezzo-soprano Renée Rapier as Cio-Cio San’s faithful attendant Suzuki, all making their company debuts.
Baritone Aleksey Bogdanov, returning to Tulsa after his role as Nourabad in The Pearl Fishers, will sing Sharpless, and conductor James Lowe returns after conducting Puccini to Pop in 2017 and Turandot in 2018.
