Engage your elders with a special gift this holiday season — bring the whole family to Tulsa Opera’s special Christmas-themed sessions of Songs by Heart! Our free, family-friendly therapeutic music program for people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia and their caretakers is a heart-warming, fun, and meaningful way to share holiday joy with all your loved ones. Join our pro singer and sing, dance, and clap along to your favorite holiday tunes, enjoy festive decorations, and share in the spirit of the season.
Yuletide Market – December 7th, 7:00 AM @ Tulsa Farmers’ Market
Start your holiday shopping enjoying the festive spirit and live music at Yuletide Market at the Tulsa Farmers’ Market in the Kendall Whittier district. Tulsa Opera takes the stage at 11 AM, offering a taste of holiday carols alongside the best that Tulsa’s artisans have to offer. This event is free and open to the public.
Circle Cinema White Christmas Reception – December 7th, 1:00 PM @ Circle Cinema
Celebrate the classic holiday film White Christmas at Circle Cinema with a full sing-along experience. Kick things off with this special reception before the opening show at 2:00 PM. Please feel free to dress in 1950s fashion and enjoy some cookies and punch as you listen to holiday music from Tulsa Opera. Tickets are on sale now and will sell out in advance, so don’t wait! Art in the Park – December 7th, 5:00 PM @ Guthrie Green
Join Tulsa Opera at a magical evening of art and music at Guthrie Green. Hosted by Arts Alliance Tulsa, Art in the Park is a celebration of local talent, and Tulsa Opera will make the evening even more memorable with a special musical performance. Enjoy photo opportunities with Santa and the Grinch, live performances on the main stage, and a street festival with holiday treats, art, and activities. This event is free and open to the public.
Christmas in the Woods – December 12th, 5:30 PM @ Trinity Woods
Tulsa Opera will fill Trinity Woods with all your favorite carols at the Christmas in the Woods campus-wide celebration. Experience great food at several venues, a horse-drawn carriage, a beautiful living nativity, a candy shop, photos with Santa Claus and an elf scavenger hunt! Christmas in Tulsa with Signature Symphony at TCC – December 13 & 14, 7:30 PM @ VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education
Celebrate the holiday season during this annual Tulsa Christmas celebration. On December 13th and 14th, join the Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale and 2024 Tulsa Sings! winner, Rachel Miller, for a festive evening of musical merrymaking alongside the Signature Symphony. Tulsa Christmas Parade Pre-show – December 14th, 10:00 AM @ 6th and Cincinnati
Don’t miss the Tulsa Christmas Parade, a popular holiday tradition featuring floats with the theme of “Stay Gold, Merry & Bright” created by local companies and organizations. Tulsa Opera will kick off this highly anticipated event with special holiday music. The Christmas Parade Pre-show is free and open to the public. Presented by American Waste Control.
