Learn more about the operas you’ll see at informal talks that take place one hour before curtain in the Westby Pavilion at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. Tulsa Opera artistic staff present a 40-minute program including recorded music excerpts about the story, the composer, and anecdotal information of each opera production. Pre-performance talks are free to all ticket-holders.

Presented in conjunction with the Guild of Tulsa Opera, this popular series of wine and cheese lectures is presented at the Tulsa Historical Society at 5:30 p.m. on an announced date prior to each Tulsa Opera production. Local opera authorities and members of Tulsa Opera’s artistic staff discuss the story, music and magic of the upcoming production. Opera Insights are free and open to the public.
